Teutoborg Forest Tower Defence Map

This is the first tower defence map inspired by Teutoborg forest. Lots of packed trees and bushes are placed using foliage tool in Unreal to create a dense and deep looking forest. High density of Exponential Height Fog is used to mimic misty and damp environment.

Leaves high poly was modelled and then baked onto a plane in Substance Painter. Then the atlas was assembled in SpeedTree. Since this tree is being spammed in large quantities, it is essential to keep the poly count low.

Combined the grass and bush atlas into one texture set since they will be in the level together. Again, keeping an eye out for poly count to optimize the scene.

Floor tillable texture used to blend together and create a visual path. The dirt has small wood chips and pine cones to depict the dirt from deep forest.
