Procedural Material Studies & Workflow Exploration

This project documents my exploration of procedural material creation in Substance Designer, with a focus on understanding structure, layering logic, and reusability.

The materials were developed as learning-focused studies, each investigating different challenges such as shape generation, masking strategies, surface breakup, and parameter control.

The slides include final material results, graph structures, and intermediate steps to illustrate my thought process and decision-making during development. The materials were also implimented in games made with Unreal Engine to evaluate their behavior in a real-time environment and their suitability for layer blending using nodes in level design.
